Call for Abstracts

Participants are requested to submit an abstract to the Conference Secretariat by using the link at the bottom of this page no later than Monday June 7th, 2010.

Abstracts will be reviewed and assigned to appropriate sessions. Accepted abstracts will be selected for Poster Presentation and a limited number of abstracts will be scheduled for oral presentation. Authors will be notified of the method of presentation.

Accepted abstracts will be published in an international peer-reviewed journal as well as abstract book for the participants. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the website prior to the Conference.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION

The first author is expected to attend the congress and present the poster or oral presentation.

The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.

PREPARATION OF PRESENTATIONS

Instructions for preparation of posters and oral presentation will be sent together with acceptance notifications.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

  • The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must be written in English
  • The preferred font style is Times New Roman with a font size 12 in Microsoft Word Format
  • Each abstract should contain the following subheadings:
    • Title
    • Authors and institutions
    • Presenting author & email
    • Background
    • Objectives
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • Keywords (not more than five
  • Abstracts should not contain figures, tables, or graphs.
  • Prizes will be awarded to best oral and poster presentation.
  • Registration for the conference is required once the abstract has been accepted for presentation.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed independently by two members of the scientific committee.
  • The authors will be notified about the acceptance of their abstracts via email by 21 May 2010.
  • The scientific committee reserves the right to make the final decision about the acceptance of the abstract and the mode of presentation (oral/poster presentation)
