An hour’s drive from Kota Kinabalu lays Kampong Trayong and your choice of activities here range from the more relaxing mangrove river cruise and batik painting to fun crab catching and banana boat rides and flying fish (Option). If thrills and spills are your game, we have jet-skies (Option) and all-terrain vehicles(Option) guaranteed to invigorate. For a final bit of fun, we have karaoke!
Cruise and reach the Mengkabong Water Villages, a settlement of the Bajau, the descendant of pirates who set foot on this land in the early 19th century. In the settlement we will see the Bajau tribe is natural born fishermen. Houses are built on stilts and connected by arrow wooden planks. Return with stop over at a pottery factory.

The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is run by Sabah Wildlife Department under the Ministry of Tourism, Cultural and Environment. The park covers about 280 acres of land include the Botanical Site managed by the Sabah Forestry Department.
The Park has more than 100 species of mammals including birds, which kept in captivity. On the Botanical side, there is a trail which leads to the Herbal and Ginger Garden. You may even catch a glimpse of the ever famous Pitcher Plant.

A boat-ride less than half an hour takes you to Sapi Island just off Kota Kinabalu City. Sapi is ideal for swimming and snorkeling and the fine white sand beach is perfect for catching some rays. You could take in all five islands (additional cost) of the Park and really bliss out on any one of the beaches, the blue sea and coral reefs with colorful marine life. Then move over to Manukan Island where lunch will be served. MORE Free at Leisure. Between them, Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Mamutik and Sulug Islands share tropical vegetation that supports interesting wildlife. (To hop to others island – you may request but there will be additional charges).
Activities – Seaport available at own pax account such as Parasailing, Jetskii, Kayak, Snorkel & Fin set can be hired OR boat charter to do island hopping around TAR PARK). 1530: Transfer back to mainland.

From the cool temperatures at the Kinabalu Park** area (**for description, please refer SGE008) , down to the warm baths at Poring, the usual swing-by for climbers seeking to rejuvenate trail-weary bodies. The hot sulphuric water here is believed to have healing properties so this is easily one of the more popular sites in Sabah. Poring is also for those in search of rare orchids and unusual plants such as the world’s largest flower, the Rafflesia. The Canopy Walkway at 41m upwards brings you eye-level with the treetops. If you prefer to view beauty from ground level up, there is the Butterfly Farm(Option). Several species are found here including some endangered ones.

- No refunds will be made after 05 July 2010 for tours booked and paid.
- No refunds will be granted for no-show reservations.
- All approved refunds will be processed and issued within 60 days after the conference.
- Half day and full day tours will only be operated with a minimum number of two (02) pax.
- Delegates shall receive confirmation on the tours booked 14 days prior to the conference.
